I used to use System 1, and did like the results with that, but decided to give this one a whirl. I like it even better. My hair has more body and stays full longer. My scalp is clean but not dry. Great daily shampoo, nice subtle aroma

Used Nioxin for Years

I have used the Nioxin shampoo and rinse treatment for 20 years of thinning hair. It’s still thin, but I have hair. Have also used generic Minoxidil products for about the same amount of time. The Mx seemed to build back some thickness, but that hit a plateau. The plateau can be seen in the above picture. So, since I have some hair, and it was falling out and it is more stable for 20 years. even when turning white, I’ll stick with the Nioxin treatment and the Mx and recommend them both for those of us who want to keep our hair a few more years. — Dan reviewed

Loosing your hair?

I’ve been using this stuff for over 10 years, battling receding hairline since my early 20’s. Don’t expect your hair to just sprout back out. Years ago my hairstylist recommended it and explained what it did, since then I’ve expanded to this regime Nioxin shampoo to remove DHT from my scalp, I use a prescription of finasteride 1mg to reduce the DHT that my body produces and minoxidil 5% to strengthen what I have. I haven’t regrown all the hair that I lost, however, I can say that at a minimum, my hair loss stopped which I am happy with. Don’t expect this shampoo alone to work magic — W. L. noticeable thickened my hair

this bottle will last you 6 months easy. High quality shampoo for men (maybe women too ?). Washes out clean, recommended by my hair stylist, and I’m quite happy with this for the price. Beats the crap out of suave or other cheap shampoos by a mile, and still very affordable. Incredible shampoo with an excellent price!

I used to use Nioxin until the retail price became ridiculous. This is close to the wholesale price and the shampoo is absolutely top notch. I am a former Cosmetologist and strongly recommend this shampoo for anyone. It’s concentrated, cleansing but not drying. Gives a great lather and stimulates the scalp.

Good for thinning hair but used with vitamins

I’m a male approaching 40. Hair was thinning. My hair is healthy and thicker. I can’t use the foam that goes with this system as it can break my scalp out. I use “It Works” vitamins for hair skin and nails with the shampoo and conditioner. The combination is what works for me. great shampoo.

Good shampoo. Only Amazon wasted about a 1/4 of an ounce. The bottle top leaked into a plastic bag that they had over the top. Mild. Low Allergenicity
