I’ve tried way too many texture/salt/powder sprays to achieve the tousled look on my fine pixie cut hair that just did not work. Other brands either left me with dried out, gummy, sticky hair or did absolutely nothing 0 nadda! So in the throes of total desperation I paid the outrageous price for this 2 oz can!! I really didn’t think it was worth all the hype until I used it. Let me just say it is worth the price even if it amounts to robbery! Oribe DTS gives a great tousled look yet leaves your hair feeling like there is nothing there! Not sticky, gummy or drying but soft, full of texture, movement and body and IT DOES’T TAKE A LOT TO ACHIEVE THIS [thanks to the Oribe gods for that}.

I researched this product [probably obsessively] watching/reading all the reviews plus the “dupe” articles and videos. After I compared the dupes ingredients to Oribe’s DTS ingredients, I realized that the dupes were full of all sorts of “alcohols” [denatured this – benzyl that’s} not to mention some really puzzling ingredients that only a MIT chemist would understand. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against alcohol its great with fruit/tomato juice! But, those mystery ingredients and the fear of drying my hair out via alcohol convinced me to forego the dupes and just give in to Oribe. Glad I did this stuff is worth it if you have fine hair. Best Product EVER

Hands down the BEST product I have ever purchased. IN. MY. LIFE! I have super thin, fine hair and have always searched for something to make my hair look semi-normal…this is it! I recently cut my hair in a medium bob with beachy waves (that style that only looks good if you have thick, beautiful hair). After curling, I spray a generous amount all through my hair and brush it out. My hair looks like it has tripled in volume and it lasts all day long. I love this product

I love this product! I’ve used the dry texturizing spray for years now, after a hairstylist friend of mine got me hooked! I have fine, straight hair and this gives my hair extra volume (not to mention smells amazing!). I usually spray some onto the roots of my damp hair before blow-drying and styling. It’s great to use on dry hair too! I sometimes spray it in my roots to act as a substitute dry shampoo when I don’t feel like washing it. Great spray for formal hairdos, helps my superfine hair hold styles. Used it for an event and it worked well to keep my updo in place, AND I was pleasantly surprised that the next day my hair was not a crazy, tangled, bird’s nest. Best texturizing spray

I’ve been using this texturizing spray for years while also trying every new texturizing product and Oribe still makes the best. Yes it’s very expensive but one can lasts me for about 4 months on long hair. I find that I really only need to use it when my hair is clean. The spray not only gives me some textures to cut some of the silkiness of my straight hair but also gives me some volume. Mind you it’s not enough as your only volumizing product if you have fine, straight hair like me but as a finishing spray after blow drying with a vomumizing mousse or spray, it gives me the big hair of my dreams.

Treat yourself!!

The hype on this product is no lie. It’s AMAZING! I had recieved a sample size in one of my subscription boxes and knew how expensive the full size was so I tried to make it last and even when used in small amounts I get incredible results so it’s definitely worth the splurge. I have really fine, color treated blonde hair so I don’t try to wash it more than 2-3 times a week and while it says it absorbs oil like a dry shampoo (which it does) I use it more as a mousse or hair spray. I spray it all over lightly before I curl or straighten my hair and it gives it so much volume and really holds the curl for days. I’ve stopped having to use mousse altogether and sometimes just use this to lighly spray my curls as they’re setting to give it extra hold if needed. The volume really does last 3 days usually, I don’t have a problem with static (the air gets really dry in Chicago’s winters), and it smells amazing. — Mena reviewed

THIS STUFF IS UN. REAL. When I blow my hair out and curl it I use this in place of hairspray to give my hair some texture and fullness without making it sticky. Can’t use great Oribe product!

I’ve used this product successfully before, but due to Covid-19 re-ordered before I needed it because so many things are difficult to find these days and we are quarantining at home still. I ran out of another can today and tried to use it, having tossed the box on Friday when I though tI might but did not have time to do it, and to my chagrin found I can’t. The push mechanism on the top of the can won’t budge. It’s frozen.The only way to make it work is to point the can downwards & push with great effort – spraying my hair normally while standing in front of the mirror is impossible. My husband finally had to try to stand above me and point it down, with me holding up each strand of hair, but he doesn’t “get” that and that’s not how I need to do my hair.
If anyone at ORIBE reads this, please explain to whom I can request another can. $46 is TOO MUCH to throw away. — Mariah Young reviewed

Excellent for Thin Hair

I have very thin hair and this product allows me to get some volume without weighing my hair down like gel or mousse does. I lift sections and lightly spray this at the base, then style and apply a light coat of hairspray and voile!…. I no longer have extremely flat, slippery hair. 🙂 I also like the fact that it has a super light scent, which dissipates rather quickly. Beauty is expensive

Super expensive, but beauty is expensive. My wife loves it and it keeps her hair from getting “scratchy” so I guess it’s worth the 5x price of normal styling spray.

Saw this in a pure wow article, bought it because I have thin hair that is hard to work with when it is clean. This works perfect and they are not kidding about how awesome it smells! I love oribe!

I originally got this product in a subscription as a travel size and fell in love! My boyfriend has pretty long hair and this is hands down his favorite product to use. It is definitely spendy but it’s so worth every penny. Texturizing spray is slightly different than dry shampoo and my boyfriend likes that it doesn’t show up white in his hair, doesn’t smell too girly, and holds his hair! Works and Smells Great!

This just arrived and im so excited that i had to write the review ASAP! Just a few sprays and my hair is lightly coated with what feels like very soft hold hairspray. I can shape it with my fingers to add volume and it’s holding pretty well. I could 100% see this used pre-teasing for REALLY texturized looks! I have some doubts about it holding up to Florida humidity, but so far i think it’s great. I dunno, maybe I can hair spray it after i shape it before hitting the heat! And the scent, omg!! Anyone remember L’oreal’s two hair refreshers the Cool Scent and the Warm Scent (in blue and yellow bottles, respectively)?? I used the heck outta the Cool Scent in HS but it’s been disco’d for years. This smells just like it to me!!! Unfortunately, it’s very pricey (boooo!) so I would recommend buying one bottle to keep on hand for special hair occasions, but I won’t be making this a recurring purchase. VOLUME, great at oil control and smells AMAZING ????

I bought this product couple of years back because my favorite YouTuber was a big fan of it. Although not a huge fan of the price, this dry shampoo is AMAZING! It smells really good! Excellent at reducing oil. And it adds A LOT of volume to hair! I use it very sparingly (I mean, the price ????????‍♀️). To prevent myself from using this product too much and having it run out, I bought the Hask Coconut Dry Shampoo, which smelled DELICIOUS btw but did nothing to add volume to my hair. Compared to the Hask, the Oribe smells more luxurious (but sometime I prefer the fresh coconut smell of the Hask). I just ran out of the Husk and I am running super low on the Oribe ???????? so I will definitely be purchasing this again on my next paycheck! — Christeenduh reviewed

This Actually Works

I am amazed by this product. It is pricey, but I received a sample at one point, and gave it a try just for the heck of it.
I will be using this the rest of my life. Let me tell you how it works. You apply it to the roots of your hair. Somehow (I don’t know what they’ve got in there) it immediately creates volume. When you blow-dry or style, the volume just increases. The other thing I’ve noticed is that if I have to get up for work the next day (I work midnight to 8 am) I can just fluff it up, and my style is right back. Again, I don’t know what they put in this stuff, and I never advocate products, but this is a winner, and I will continue ordering it, no matter what the price. — Sushmitha Das reviewed

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

This is pricey but it works. I have fine hair and this makes it “behave” – adds fullness and manageability without weighing my hair down. The only downside, beside the price, is that it does take away some of the natural shine but for what it does offer, I’m good with it. — Diane reviewed

Works Incredible!

Yes it is expensive and I hate that it is so much more than most other texturizers. But IT WORKS!
I have tried a gazillion different ones but not one of them can hold a candle to this.
A little goes a long way. I have seen other reviews that talk about it feeling tacky. Yes it will if you use a lot.

Great on fine hair

I have very fine and straight hair. This product (unlike any I’ve tried) truly gives my roots texture and lift. I bought it in a salon the first time for over $50. Smells amazing! It’s a soft hair spray. I ordered it by mistake cause I wanted the dry shampoo but I was happy to try it. They say its comparable to dry shampoo but I disagree. However it’s an ansi g hair spray with a wonderful smell. I wouldn’t buy it again due to the price. Works excellent with flat hair

I got a sample bottle in my Ipsy bag. Ever since then I was very happy with how it made my flat hair nice and full. It makes your hair feel a tad bit coarse like a hairspray but it won’t leave it sticky or stuck together like regular hairspray would.
