  • Great Shampoo

    I was a little skeptical at first, as I have tried many shampoos and found most over-rated. This shampoo is different. First of all, even though the price may seem steep, you only need a very small amount to get coverage. I used this shampoo as the after treatment for Olaplex No. 3. It lathers very well and smells nice. I did not use any conditioner after, and my hair is soft and tangle free. I have natural grey hair that is rather dry at the ends, and this helps tame the ends. In addition, I flat iron my hair. With Olaplex, my hair is already more smooth after the treatment and shampoo, so when I flat iron, I don’t need to spend as much time with the iron! Even two days after treatment and styling, my hair is still soft and flowing. Together with Olaplex No. 3, I am already seeing the difference in my hair, and I am happy.   • Took it after the gastric sleeve

    The smell to me is similar to dish soap..however the product itself is amazing. I had the gastric sleeve a year ago and have had extensions in for months due to embarrassment of thin straw like hair. For the first time in no the I have no extensions in and my hair is shiny.     Few customers complained about receiving an empty container…mine came completely sealed, there’s no way it could leak…been using this shampoo, conditioner and hair mask for over 2 years, I’m very happy with it as it actually helped my hair regenerate after years of bleaching it…also, you don’t need to use a lot of it, which makes it last just as long as if not even longer than a regular 300ml bottle.   • Pleasantly surprised.

    I’m a cynic in nature. Several people had mentioned this set but I’m not an easy sell. I finally bit the bullet and i am glad i did! Start with a SMALL amount of shampoo! I accidentally used way more shampoo than necessary lol. It took a good 10min to wash all the suds out of my hair. The conditioner is just as concentrated so start with only a small amount. The first time i used it, i had used the bond repair in my hair dye and washed with the set. After i washed it out of my hair i initially thought it felt a little heavy. But once i dried my hair it was so like and airy and my normal frizzies were smoothed out!! I do use CHI heat protector before i dry and straighten my hair. But i was able to skip my usual Aveda split end treatment. I can’t wait to wash and dry my hair today! I looked like i went to a salon, that’s how soft, silky, smooth my hair looked!!     I’ve heard so many people raving about Olaplex for damaged hair so I finally broke down and ordered some. I’m now on bottle four and I don’t plan on using another brand for awhile.     If you are looking for a shampoo to give your hair shine, help with Frizz, and just make your hair appear healthier this is it. I have thinner hair that has a weird texture, I had lots of hair fall out after my second baby and it grew back kind of wavy and kind of frizzy,. This has helped my hair look so much healthier after using it for the past month. It looks fuller after being washed. The shampoo lather goods, I like a good lather!     Let me tell you about my hair and me. I am 47 years old and I refuse to turn gray . I color my hair like once a month . Not cuz I want to. I have too.     I thought I already owned the perfect shampoo and conditioner for my hair, but I was wrong. This Olaplex No.4 and the condition, No.5, is amazing. It smells great, leaves my hair very soft and clean-feeling, as if it has got rid of all the bad shampoos I have used in the past. It is typically very rare that I am able to last more than one day before having to wash my hair, but since I have been using this over the past week and a half, I have only washed my hair every other day and it looks great! I have very curly hair that frizzes immediately with any humidity. We live in a rain forest and although we have had decent weather lately, it has rained the past couple of days and still no frizz.     I dont normally bother leaving reviews but this stuff was so amazing it inspired me to leave one.
    After chemically processing my hair i was having a nightmare after showers, it was breaking, brittle, dry, just very hard to deal with. I spent so much money on masks, leave in conditioners, etc…
    After doing a bunch of searches on google this stuff kept on coming up so i figured I’d try it.

  • Absolutely fantastic for dyed or processed hair

    I’ve been dyeing my hair since I was in middle school (so over 30 years) and have tried so many different brands of shampoo and conditioner, looking for that formulation that would preserve my color and keep my dry hair soft and manageable. I wish I’d found this years ago because it is the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used. I went from blonde to red in October 2019 which is when I purchased this (I’d done research and learned it was originally designed for preserving blonde color) and I’ve been using it religiously since then. For various reasons it took me over 3 months to get back to the salon for a color update and cut – and my hair and color were in such good shape, my color only needed minor touch-ups at the roots and there were sections of my hair she didn’t even trim (I’m trying to grow it out a little) because it was so healthy! I’ve literally never experienced that in my life. My stylist was as wowed as I was! And as other reviews mention, a little goes a long way. I have shoulder-length hair and wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week. In nearly 4 months I haven’t even used 1/4 of these bottles! My only minor ding (and not even really a ding) is that the scent isn’t what I’d prefer – but it’s very mild anyway so it doesn’t bother me or anything. I just like a nicely fragranced shampoo/conditioner and this is almost scent-neutral. 🙂 But seriously – if you have color-treated hair, particularly if it is damaged, I highly recommend you give this a try!     Unbelievable!! Literally washed my hair 1 time and I can already set a huge difference! Its actually unbelievable. So amazing that my husband even noticed and he never notices things like that.     What a game changer! I have naturally wavy/curly hair and it is just so damaged. I get it colored and cut typically every 6 weeks.     I know hair products varies from person to person based on hair type, porosity, etc. With that said, First, I purchased No.3, Which is the hair mask treatment for damaged hair. I wish I had a before & after picture because my hair was SOOO badly damaged. It worked pretty good but I needed No.4, & No.5 also! After receiving & using No.4 & 5 With No.3 was when I really started to see the difference. My hair stopped falling out, moisture was retaining & my curl pattern began to form again. I recommend using No.3,4,&5 together! This is a hair care system that will repair and restore strength if used together regularly. Now that my hair is fully restored, I will continue to use Olaplex on a regular basis to maintain strength & moisture.     I never tend to “buy into the hype,” but Olaplex has really changed my hair. I stopped dying and straightening it over the COVID isolation, and started using Olaplex 3, 4, and 5. This shampoo specifically feels lovely and leaves my hair bouncy and light, while giving it the clean feeling I need from a shampoo without stripping it. My hair actually flows instead of clumps together (I have type 3A blonde curls that turn into a poof if the wind even blows).     I went to a hairdresser once who was really quite out there. However she turned me on to this brand and my Hair has never been so healthy.     WOW!!! I have used probably hundreds of shampoos and conditioners over the course of my life and I have never ran across one that was amazing on every level! I have very thin, brittle, frizzy, color treated hair. I also wash my hair at least every to every other day and use hot tools regularly. I’ve now used the Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner several times and cannot say enough about it. I have never had a shampoo or conditioner make my hair feel so silky smooth even while washing or rinsing my hair out while in the shower! My hair usually feels rough and fried even after washing my hair out. For the first time in my life, my hair felt amazing even in the shower! I also normally end up with tons of tangles while trying to brush it out and that is the exact opposite of what happens now. My brush just falls through my wet hair… no tangles at all!! After blow drying my hair and straightening it, my hair feels like silk!!! It has started to feel a little heavier and healthier! It is shiny and I have a whole lot less fly aways!     I have been using Olaplex for 9 months now. It is unmistakably the best shampoo ever, especially for my hair type. i have thin, straight, oily hair. This is wonderful about stripping extra oil, Not weighing my hair down and keeping it Moisturized enough that it doesnt break. I use a nickel size amount each morning, and this Bottle typically last 3.5 to 4 months. I do use the conditioner as well but only on the ends every four days as the conditioner does get heavy if used too much. However I have been using the conditioner for 7 months now and still have 1/4 of the bottle remaining.   • Definitely a good Purifying shampoo.

    You only need about the size of a nickel in your palm to use for shoulderlength hair. I would definitely call this a cleansing shampoo. It does remove all the extra build up on your hair. I would recommend only using this once a week. And you definitely need to deep condition afterwards. I could be wrong because it is still late winter early spring here but my hair just seems very very dry . I can’t necessarily blame the product because I’ve only used it three times.
