Fancyyyy and precise

Great Trimmers – Despite the Price Tag!

The first thing that pops out about these trimmers are the aesthetics – it looks really cool (especially in gold!)

I am not a professional barber, but wanted to try my hand at a self haircut during the quarantine, so I did some research and ended up purchasing these BabyLiss PRO Trimmers.

These clippers are a lot lighter than they look. They fit very nicely in the hand, and the Maglite flashlight shaped handle has some very nice stippling that makes the trimmers easy to grip.

I love the fact that the trimmer blade is “exposed” and doesn’t have anything obstructing my the view when lining up – this is especially critical when trying to do this in a mirror on yourself.

Also very happy that they included a device to zero gap the blade. I also have the PRO FX Clippers, and wish they included something similar for those!

The battery life is great. I’ve used it 5 or 6 times already on one charge.

Overall, these are a bit pricier than some of the other cordless trimmers out there, but in my experience so far, they’ve been a quality product. I would definitely recommend these trimmers. — Neisha reviewed

Impressive, Stylish Trimmer

I like the way it cuts very close when balding. Still having an issue getting a sharp line up on the sides of the head. I tried zero gapping it as close as possible without it causing cuts, but still doesn’t appear to line up properly. It’s probably just me not doing it right.

Yes Sir Bishop!!!

These joints hit hard. Out the box they are not zeroed but the tool provided allows you to do this without removing the blades from the trimmer. That is a game changer. Needless to say, after I zeroed in the trimmers I dry shaved under my neck and YES SIR, these joints cut clean. Normally after I dry shave I use the Andis foil trimmers to clean up. However, these joints cut so close, I don’t think there’s anything left for the foil trimmers to cut. These cut better than my Andis Pro Slimline li trimmers with blades that have been sharpened and zeroed that hit hard, but not as hard as these. Reason being, the power of this trimmer is so much greater, you can really feel the difference. These are truly premium trimmers worth the price. — Manuel Juarez reviewed

Perfect barber tool!! A MUST HAVE!! The packaging could have been better when shipped.

It came very fast, the only thing that I was unhappy about that it wasn’t shipped in a actual box…with the amount of money that was spent on this item, having better packaging would have been nice. But it arrived without any damage Thank God…now that all aside
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TRIMMER. Lineups are a breeze, close, tight and super clean lines. Being brand-new it’s very quiet, soft to the skin and trims like a knife slices through butter with out causing irritation to your customers skin. My advice nice gentle taps, let the trimmer do all the work for you. Everything was in the box, all items were new and unused. The trimmer is light weight and easy to handle. Motor is powerful and blades are sharp so no need to apply strong amount of pressure to your client’s line-ups. Definitely worth the money and every professional Barber and Stylist should own one of these in their collection of tools needed.

If you’re able to purchase this item in-store I would recommend that instead. The shipping package was horrible…Bubble wrap yellow envelope is what it came in…disappointed ????

Your craft is only as good as the tools you invest in!

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and barber in two different states. As a PROFESSIONAL let me tell you these are THE BEST trimmers you can invest in! Not only do I use these, but so do all my coworkers. I’ve used several different clippers and brands over the years and nothing comes close to these! These will shave the hair down to next to nothing (without modifications)! And give you the CLEANEST and SHARPEST edge ups! If you are buying these for work, do not sell yourself short. You can’t go wrong. Or if you’re buying these for yourself at home, DO IT! Best Trimmers for lineups!

These are straight Hitters! They do not come zero gapped, however, it brings a tool which allows you to do it with ease. Once zero gapped it creates sharp lines! Not so great for debulking, at least not that I have been able to do successfully without pulling on the hair. But for lines such as hair line up and beards they are A-1! — Dominique reviewed

Very convenient

These are amazing! Some of the best liners /trimmers I’ve ever owned! I’ve used Wahl and Andis these are beautiful.
1. The blades are easy to adjust
2. The motor is powerful
3. They really don’t get hot
4. You can see what you’re doing at a better angle due to the blade
5. They’re wireless, you don’t have to keep worry about a cord being in the way which allows you to focus more on your lineup.

Absolute Hitters

Easy to zero gap with the provided tools and they are tap and go. I’ve used every trimmer out there over the years and still currently own a ton of different trimmers. I will say these are my first pair of cordless but that doesn’t sway my feeling about them simply because of that because if a clipper or trimmer is trash then its just trash but these hit hard with light pressure. I’m typically a little more heavy handed but I have them set close cuz I like the way they hit so I adjust myself to work with them. I’m not a barber but i’ve been cutting my hair and family/friends for over 25 years and the gold fx’s are my new favorites. I’ve only had them for a short time so far so I can’t speak to their life span but again…i’m not a barber using them all day everyday but the battery would seemingly have to be the weak link unlike the traditional corded trimmers, some of which i’ve had forever. Very nice liners

Very nice looking liner clippers, feels good in my hand, once adjusted, they give a great line up and shave. They don’t shave my hair on my face as well as I see in the videos with one cut because I have thick course hair on my face and have to go over it a few times. Gold vs Silver

I’m not a professional barber but I cut a few family heads from time to time. I have both the Gold FX and Silver FX. There are differences in the 2. The Gold FX has a standard tooth blade whereas the Silver FX has a Deep Tooth blade (Similar to the Andis GTX blade). Both hit extremely well when zero gapped. I noticed the Silver FX removes bulk a tad bit

These Trimmers pack a punch

I bought these trimmers to replace a pair of older Andis corded trimmers and to my surprise, while these are wireless, they feel as if they have the same amount of power when fully charged. I’ve been cutting for a long time and I have to say after all the days of breaking my clippers down and zero gapping them to make them hit just right, those days are over 100%!! THIS IS #1 LINER/ TRIMMER on the market anyone else that tells you different doesn’t understand the actual struggle of zero gapping period. 1. THEY HAVE A ZERO GAP ADJUSTER ON THE CLIPPER ITSEF. 2. WIRELESS. 3. THEY ARE POWERFUL. 4. YES, THEY ARE GOLD!

Great clippers

Great Edging accuracy

These are amazing! I debated for like 3 months before I purchased and then they were out of stock for a bit when I finally made up my mind. But the have a good solid feel, comfortable, nice sound, and great for bald fades to edging. Perfect for personal and professional use

Out of the box these trimmers are hitting. I have sensitive skin so zeroing out trimmers is hit or miss. Used them for the first time on my son and myself after receiving… Im sold. The hype is real. I’ve been an Andis user my entire life but have never had anything cut this precise out the box. WORTH THE BUCK !

I like to go bald but I dont like using a razor. This trimmer right here is the machine I been looking for. Extremely great for lining up my mustache. I’ve tried less expensive trimmers and this is hands down the best one. Worth the money I even got my brother in law asking for permission from my sister to get one of his own lol !
